Hill Country Funding

Dear Hill Country Funding Investors:

This website is dedicated to providing you with brief updates and with easy access to the most relevant court filings and other important documents.  The most pertinent matter on the current docket is the HCF Receiver’s motion to consolidate the Retirement Value estate with the HCF estate.  That matter will be heard on December 8, 2011.

We are pleased to announce that HCF shall be receiving approximately 10% of the recovery from the settlement reached between RV and Dick Gray.   Please note, this is not a settlement of HCF’s claims.  However, as a practical matter,  further recovery from Dick Gray is likely to be somewhat limited in that it is understood that the majority of his assets have been exhausted.

The HCF Receiver has reached a tentative agreement with the RV Receiver to split recovery from any common defendants in a 90/10 split.  This is a fair split considering that RV investments total approximately $77 million, where as HCF investments total only about 7% of that, at $5.5 million.  This agreement will facilitate a cooperative relationship between the receiverships as we work in tandem to recover for all of the investor-victims.     HCF still retains ownership of the policies and claims against potential defendants that did not do business with RV.

Linked below is a form affidavit you should have received in the mail and instructions on the same.  If you have yet to fill out the affidavit but would still like to, please do so and return it to our offices via facsimile, mail, or email.
